I also have bad reactions to 'someone is going to make a really stupid decision and I can see the trainwreck coming' style of things. Which is why I avoid most USA based sitcoms.

I cope better when it's a character doing it who isn't meant to be that bright, but when they're supposedly intelligent I get close to shouting at the screen.
