Both of them are sliding down the mountainside at high speed, throwing up a spray of snow behind. The clouds of snow are made of little squares, because a lot of the elements in the game that aren't people or llamas are made up of basic geometric shapes. You can probably see that the mountains are all basic triangles; so are the leaves on the trees, when there are trees.
