Ship/character breakdown:
No ships or characters appeared in more than one story, unless you count the two parts of the MCU AU separately, and even then the only character who actually appears in both is the GM.

Specifics:

Best/worst title?
I quite like "The Continuation of Diplomacy by Other Means".

Best/worst summary?
Not applicable, as they all just have the ficathon prompt as their summary.

Best first line?
"Ooh, a challenge," Harley squeals, and claps her hands – and then tips her head thoughtfully and adds, "But we're gonna hafta set ground rules, B-Man. The whole therapy thing depends on you feeling comfortable saying what's going through your head, y'know, and trusting that your therapist won't use it against you somehow."

Best last line?
Giving her singing lessons is going to be more of a challenge.

General questions:

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less than you thought, or about what you predicted?
After last year, I wasn't going to make any predictions, and was willing to be happy with whatever I managed. That said, it's in the region of my annual wordcounts for most of the years I've done this meme.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted last year?
Assuming I'm remembering correctly that I already knew about Untitled Goose Game last year, the most unexpected is Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!, which it would never have occurred to me to write without being prompted.

What's your favourite story this year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you the happiest.
It's a toss-up between "The Continuation of Diplomacy by Other Means" and "Today is the feast day of St. Peter of Thorkelston". The latter might have a slight edge because it's effectively complete as it stands, whereas "The Continuation of Diplomacy by Other Means" is one of those that comes with a side of feeling guilty about writing just enough to establish the premise instead of telling the whole story.

Okay, NOW your most popular story.
By both hits and kudos it's a clear win for "Professional Standards", though I suspect that might say as much about the relative visibility of the fandom and characters as about its actual popularity.

Story most underappreciated by the universe?
I don't think I can make that claim for any of them. If I had to pick one, I'd hoped for "Assemble" to get a bit more of a reaction, but I'm not going to say the muted reaction it got was unfair.

Story that could have been better?
I normally say something like "probably all of them", but in this case I think there are a couple that do exactly what they mean to do in three sentences and couldn't be substantially improved upon. The rest, though -- especially the ones that are using the three sentence format as an excuse not to write the story at a proper length...

Sexiest story?
It would take a heroic amount of reading-in for any of them to be sexy at all, so the question of "sexiest" doesn't really arise.

Saddest story?
"Three Sentences About Susan", hands down.

Most fun?
Apart from "Three Sentences About Susan", 'fun' is what they're all aiming for; which one succeeds best is probably down to personal taste.

Story with single sweetest moment?
I don't think of any moments that particularly stand out in that respect.

Hardest story to write?
"Assemble" is the one I remember having most trouble with, probably because it really needs more than three sentences.

Easiest/most fun story to write?
"Don't Let the Pigeon Write a Commentfic!" rolled straight out as fast as I could type it.

Most overdue story?
None of these stories involved a deadline.

Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?
Played it pretty safe this year.

This year's theme and the story that demonstrates it most:
If the question is "theme of this year's writing", I'm not sure there is one. If it's "theme of this year", I think that's demonstrated less by any single work than by the resounding lack of any works completed after February.

What are your fic writing goals for next year?
Write something.
