Looking for the bright side

I opened the pantry cupboard to get out the breakfast cereal, and was enthusiastically greeted by the stench of rotten tomatoes.

After cleaning operations had progressed far enough that there was room in my head for something beside omgthesmell, it occurred to me that at least the rest of the day has to be uphill from here.

Right?
