(no subject)

In a corner of my virtual neighbourhood that mostly doesn't overlap with LJ, there are some people who regularly commute to work by bicycle, and who have recently been taking photos of their respective routes and sticking them on Flickr with the tag "bikecommute". Many of them involve beautiful, or at least interesting, scenery (which is part of the point of the exercise, of course).

There's also a (so far, smaller) sister project, "walkcommute".

My own regular walk to work is neither beautiful, nor very interesting (and what's more is very short, that being one of the major reasons I moved into this house), but I've stuck it up on walkcommute anyway.
