(no subject)

It's been a bit of an unusual week. The local office of the company I work for moved to a new building on Monday.

The air-conditioner in the new place is considerably stupider than the one in the old, and requires careful handling to achieve something between "sweltering" and "penguin weather", but I think we're gradually getting the hang of it.

The internet connection, which was originally expected to be ready when we moved in, did not in fact grace us with its presence until Thursday afternoon. Thus we were left with three and a bit days without being able to take an occasional break to check livejournal, browse Wikipedia, or whatever. I'm kind of embarrassed by how much work I got done.

I see lost_spook has kept her side of the deal, so now I suppose now I have to keep mine...
