After the Rain Has Fallen, Sting. A song I don't particularly care for from an album I got for one of the other tracks. I'm not sure I even remember which other track; perhaps I'll recognise it when it comes around.

After You - Who?, Fred Astaire. I have no strong feelings about this one way or the other.

Agadoo, Black Lace. This was big one year when I was in school; I'm not sure if I ever actually liked it or if it was just that I was used to hearing it around.

The Age of Not Believing, Angela Lansbury (from Bedknobs and Broomsticks). I have no strong feelings about this one way or the other.

Agnus Dei, Choir of King's College Cambridge. A song I don't particularly care for from an album I got for... actually, I don't remember why I've got an album of the King's College Choir singing Christmas carols. I was into choral music more when I was in a choir, I think.

Ain't Misbehavin', Fats Waller. A rendition I don't particularly care for of a song I sometimes quite like, from an album that I think I hoped would contain more renditions that I enjoyed.

Air (Orchestral Suite), Gheorghe Zamfir. The orchestral suite in question is Bach's Orchestral Movement No.3 in D minor; the air from the second movement was the basis of a popular piece called "Air on the G String", although this arrangement sounds to me like it's in the original key.

Air in B-flat major (HWV469), George Frideric Handel.
Air in B-flat major (HWV470), George Frideric Handel.
Air in G major (HWV470), George Frideric Handel.
Air in G minor (HWV466), George Frideric Handel. Various short instrumental pieces, all from the same album; John O'Donnell is the soloist. I think I like 466 the best of these, but none of them particularly stand out.

The Air That I Breathe, James Last. I don't know that I've ever actually heard this song sung, only this instrumental version. Listening to it this time, part of it sounded oddly familiar in a way that I assumed was just a coincidence of style until I checked the Wikipedia entry, which notes that Radiohead have admitted to nicking part of the tune and chord progression for the bridge section of "Creep".

Airport Love Theme, Henry Mancini. Presumbly this means 'love theme from the movie Airport' and Mancini didn't just wake up one day and decide that what airports in general needed was a love theme. Inoffensive; actually, kinda similar to all this James Last I've been listening to lately.

Alabama Song, Lotte Lenya. A song I don't particularly care for from an album I got for one of the other tracks.

Alfie, Cilla Black. A song I don't particularly care for from an album I got for one of the other tracks.
