Jun. 23rd, 2012 10:45 amI was doing a questionnaire recently, and one of the questions was "Name three public figures you admire the most". Neil deGrasse Tyson sprang immediately to mind, and after that my mind went blank. I'm still having trouble coming up with more names.
Partly it's that the people I admire tend to be people I know as people; I can admire a public figure's work, but that's not necessarily the same thing as admiring the person. That bit about "admire the most" is also something of a stumbling block: what if I admire such-and-such a person, but am not sure if I admire them the most?
