Date: 2013-02-07 01:17 am (UTC)The band in that song is completely unworkable, anyway. (Which of course is part of the point, in context.) One of the other things the visiting expert has been drumming into us is sound balance, and the importance of the cornet section piping down and letting the rest of the band be heard. A band where the cornets outnumbered the basses 110 to 1 would sound terrible.
