Hello!

(I'm just now realizing that, although I've seen you around, it's been in my comment threads)

I am very seriously considering deleting my LiveJournal, now that I've learned that the last of the servers have been moved from California to Moscow, and the journals of Russian dissidents are being deleted...

I stopped giving LJ my money years ago, but I think it's time I stop giving them my eyeballs.

Happy New Year, btw. How's 2017 so far for you?

Quiet, so far. Which is not a bad thing, considering some of the alternatives.

Deleting my LiveJournal might be a subsequent step, but for now it's useful to have the account because I still have friends who use it as their main posting place. (Although maybe not as many as I used to? I should got through my list and check.)

I've actually been thinking of deleting my LJ for a while, though I do have maybe one or two friends over there, still, because I can go several months without a single comment on any post that shows up there, and my "Friends feed" post can go for multiple days without changing.

But yeah... there are a couple of people who will probably never come over to the Dreamwidth side... so... that's why I haven't done it ages ago.

The trouble with Dreamwidth is that it only shows friends' posts from the last 14 days, so if one doesn't log in all that often, things get missed.
Like this one :-p
