Rehearsals for Cabaret continue. Consequent of people dropping out and various other rearrangements, I am now playing a single role with enough lines that it would be churlish of me to insist on knowing the exact number. (By which you can tell it's not any of the four I used to be doing.)

Do you have a copy of the script with you, or just a very good memory?

Neither, I'm afraid. I've never seen the production, but it gets referenced a heckofalot, and I've seen some of the musical numbers over the years: your work on it made me curious as to the storyline, so I went and looked it up on Wikipedia.

That line really touched me, very powerful, so I thought it was worth repeating.

Reminds me of Moulin Rougue in a lot of ways.
