"Hound of the D'Urbervilles"??

Date: 2011-12-02 04:56 pm (UTC)The Hound of the D'Urbervilles is a collection of stories about Professor Moriarty narrated by his trusty offsider Colonel Moran, in a manner not a hundred miles from that employed by that other well-known trusty offsider Dr Watson. Also, as the title suggests, there's crossovers involved.
The first in the series, publication-wise, was "A Shambles in Belgravia", which involves Irene Adler and an embarrassing incident involving the King not of Bohemia but of that funny little country The Prisoner of Zenda was set in. (It was originally published online - and, come to think of it, it's still there. So is Jon Courtenay Grimwood's The Spy's Retirement, which is also very good, in a completely different way.)
