I was doing a questionnaire recently, and one of the questions was "Name three public figures you admire the most". Neil deGrasse Tyson sprang immediately to mind, and after that my mind went blank. I'm still having trouble coming up with more names.

Partly it's that the people I admire tend to be people I know as people; I can admire a public figure's work, but that's not necessarily the same thing as admiring the person. That bit about "admire the most" is also something of a stumbling block: what if I admire such-and-such a person, but am not sure if I admire them the most?

Ha, yeah, the only way I can answer questions like that is to pretend they ask for, eg three people I really admire rather than the ones I admire MOST. Then I think of the first three that come to mind, and if noone I admire more comes to mind I write them down and try not to stress about it. Damn pedantic brains :)
