Here are the answers to the lyrics meme bonus round:

#1.
I saw Susan press a switch, and the doors closed behind me.
(Doctor Who in an exciting adventure with the Daleks by David Whitaker, read by Ian Chesterton William Russell. Opening of Chapter 10.)

#2.
*splash*
"Once aboard the Annabelle, that's the only way you'll get off her."
(Doctor Who: The Highlanders, soundtrack with linking narration by Frazer Hines. Opening of Episode 3.)

And the final score is: 0 correct guesses out of 0 attempts.

Apparently this meme doesn't work at all with audio books. Oh, well.

My butterfly mind skittered briefly over all three literary Susans I know before concluding that there were probably hundreds of literary Susans I didn't know. I didn't even make the connection with the first person narration, despite having a standard rant about that...

Actually, once you gave the big clue (that your flist should know them), I guessed them both correctly, but I was too tired to reply, and then I forgot.
