pedantherI went shopping for a ladder this morning, because there were a couple of things I wanted to do around the house that required a ladder. I couldn't find anything between step-stools and a big serious ladders for big serious workmen, so I decided it could wait.
And now of course the light in this room has gone on the blink (in the irritatingly literal sense), and there's not a thing I can do about it because I don't have a ladder.
And, before you ask, nothing in the house that combines "tall enough" with "likely to support my weight".
...wait a minute.
Did you wait? Good. Forget what I was just saying - it turns out that the computer desk is a very convenient height.
