Five-fandom ficlet meme

An inspirational writing meme, via
justice_turtle's tumblr. (I couldn't not; it was through an earlier go-round of this meme that I met
justice_turtle, years ago.) Five fandoms, five random poetic prompts, 250 words.
The instructions
1: Pick five fandoms. List them in alphabetical order.
2: Visit this site to find your first RANDOM POEM OF POWER. Write down the 5th line (yes, even if it’s an E.E. Cummings poem and you wind up with an apostrophe). Repeat five times and - you guessed it - list ’em in alphabetical order! (No cheating, mind! This is a challenge and it’s always been about creativity.)
3: I think you can see where this is going. Write a very quick 50-word half-drabble for each fandom (try to do it all in one sitting - make your brain explode!), using the line from the poem as a prompt. You don’t have to include it in the half-drabble - it’s just inspiration.
4: Bravo! Have a cookie.
The fandoms
Atomic Robo
Batman
Doctor Who
Marvel Cinematic Universe
Muppets
The prompts
As I, who testify it
- "Do people moulder equally", Emily Dickinson
I hailed Hoosier Ryley with pleasure,
- "A Verseman's Apology", Robert Service
I no longer strive to strive towards such things
- "Ash Wednesday", TS Eliot
The trails of the world be countless, and most of the trails be tried;
- "The Lone Trail", Robert Service
Why is it so quiet, what are they hiding?
- "Berck-Plage", Sylvia Plath
Atomic Robo / "As I, who testify it"
Well, obviously I'm hoping the Congressional Committee will understand our reasons. Most of the evidence was lost when we blew the thing up, but I'd like to think my experience counts for something on the subject of inhuman mechanical creatures.
Yes, thank you, I'm aware that could go either way.
Batman / "I hailed Hoosier Ryley with pleasure"
So leave the bank vaults full, and let the wallets go their way,
And don't go with the Joker when he's got a joke to play,
Nor lend a hand to Ivy when her plans begin to sprout,
Or the Batman's going to get you
If you
Don't
Watch
Out!
Doctor Who / "I no longer strive to strive towards such things"
I still sometimes hear stories of that remarkable man, the Doctor, but less often now: as the War forces history into new paths, old stories fade unless they are actively renewed.
There is nobody to create new stories of the Doctor. The stories I create now are of the warrior.
Marvel Cinematic Universe / "The trails of the world be countless, and most of the trails be tried"
There are countless places in the world a man might go to avoid the world's attention. Bruce has been to many of them since the Hulk entered his life.
Of course he hasn't gone back to any of those now; he knows SHIELD knows them. Natasha checks them all anyway.
Muppets / "Why is it so quiet, what are they hiding?"
It's quiet in the Muppet Theater. Kermit, one of nature's showmen, knows exactly how long to pause before adding: Too quiet.
A muffled noise from one of the dressing rooms, followed by a succession of ever-louder variations on "Ssh! Kermit might hear you!"
Oh, good. Just another wacky scheme, then.
